पिtara by Sisosh” is a brainchild of Sidharth and Sonal. After traveling the world together and experiencing different lifestyles and cultures, they arrived to a conclusion that it is their lifelong love affair with India which inspires the concept of पिtara. The Kaleidoscope of colours and unique art – crafts, which India offers is not found anywhere in the world. Our aim at पिtara is to offer handmade Indian products which show the essence of India on a single Platform. Our constant endeavor is to provide articles that are unique and promote the skill set of our artisans, which is being lost in the era of modernization.

Sidharth who Holds an MBA from I.I.F.T, Delhi and is also analumniof N.I.F.T holds an experience of more than 2 decades in the business of exports. Sonal holds an MBA and is the Creative force behind the brand पिtara. She has hands on experience of collaborating and working with top fashion Brands like Diesel, Max Mara, Liu Jo, Apostrophe and Antik Batik to name a few.

We bring in 2 decades of experience for identifying and manufacturing products for our endeavour “Onlinepitara.com”. We choose designs that our teamadores and make sure that everything we sell is made with love, care, great finish and fine quality.

At पिtara, sustainability and ethical practices are at the core all our activities. Our designs, which preserve a traditional heritage techniques, are ethically handmade by independent artisans from all over India. By helping preserve traditional heritage techniques through partnerships, we also help create sustainable income for these artisans.

We are also taking a step forward in using Recycled fabric.Our aim is to minimize the Carbon footprint and also make use of the articles which can be recycled. We all dreamof a safe and clean environment for our coming generations. Using Recycled fabrics and paper is our little contribution is lessening the land fills and also saving the natural resources.

We are taking a small initiative in making products which are eco friendly and would not cause any kind of pollution. Our aim is to generate employment especially for women and we strongly believe in empowering them. Our aim is to further the concept of Home Workers and make the ladies at the grass root levels financially independent.
